About the Role

At Bitara, security is a first principle, and audits are where we prove it. As a Smart Contract Auditor, you'll perform in-depth security reviews of smart contracts and protocols, hunting vulnerabilities and producing clear, actionable reports that protect real value.

You'll think like an attacker and communicate like an engineer, working across DeFi, tokenization, and novel protocol designs. This role is for people who find the bug everyone else missed.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform in-depth security reviews of smart contracts and protocols
  • Identify vulnerabilities, edge cases, and economic attack vectors
  • Produce clear, actionable audit reports with prioritized findings
  • Partner with engineering teams to remediate and verify fixes
  • Develop and refine audit methodologies, checklists, and tooling
  • Stay ahead of emerging exploits and security research

Requirements

  • 5+ years in security, with strong smart contract auditing experience
  • Deep knowledge of Solidity/EVM and common vulnerability classes
  • Ability to reason about protocol economics and complex attack surfaces
  • Experience with static analysis, fuzzing, and formal verification tools
  • Excellent written communication for clear, rigorous audit reports
  • Meticulous, adversarial, security-first mindset

Nice to Have

  • Track record of responsible disclosures or bug-bounty results
  • Experience auditing Rust/Solana or non-EVM ecosystems
  • Published security research or CTF participation
